25th Anniversary Celebration
- The First Heart Transplant in Ireland
September 2010 will be the 25th Anniversary of the first heart transplant performed in Ireland by Surgeons Mr Maurice Nelligan and Professor Freddie Wood along with the transplant team of the Mater Hospital.
We are currently in the process of organising a celebration of the day for our members and we will have the details posted here shortly.
